Most online marketers have no clue how great things are right now.  We are living in a time when some very nerdy people have created tools for online advertising that make it so much easier than it has ever been!

What do I mean?

Well for some time now, platforms like Google and Facebook have been developing out their Artificial Intelligence.  Yes, their nerds have developed things like audience pixels, that once installed, can learn the behaviors of your audience.

This is important, because we no longer have to rely on just our own testing.  We can literally “stand in the shoulders of these giant nerds” and leverage what they have built.  In essence here’s how the sequence works…

  1. You install an “audience pixel” on your pages that you’re sending traffic to.
  2. You test some of your own hunches are start improving your advertising.
  3. With each conversion, your pixels learn the behaviors of your perfect audience.
  4. After some “seasoning” (time and numerical relevance), you can ask the nerds to build you a larger “lookalike” audience that displays nearly identical behavior to your conversions.

How is this possible?

It is possible because the way that the nerds have written the Artificial Intelligence code, the ad platform takes the learned behavior of your conversion, and matches that with the demographics of the big data houses, essentially creating a newly perfected audience to advertise to!

Let that sink in for a minute….

Imagine the exactness of that versus advertising on Television or radio.  This has not only leveled the playing field for the smaller advertisers, it has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for any kind of entrepreneur!

Sadly, most new advertisers don’t understand this.  They go with the “mud against the wall” technique, and when that doesn’t work, they give up…rather quickly.  It’s a shame, because there are so many opportunities that go untapped.
